Un conférencier diplomé de l’ecole du vin
I would be delighted to tell you more about the different Rhône Valley appellations and their taste characteristics. The Rhône Valley is a very diverse wine region, with a wide variety of grape varieties, soils and microclimates.
The two main production areas are the left bank of the Rhône, which produces red wines, and the right bank, which produces white wines.
When it comes to appellations, there is a wide variety of names that you might be familiar with, such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Crozes-Hermitage, and many more. Again.
Each of these appellations has its own unique taste characteristics, with subtle differences in flavors, textures and aromas.
During our tasting, I will introduce you to the different grape varieties, the specific terroirs and the winemaking techniques that make the reputation of the wines of the Rhône Valley.
We will also discuss the history of the region, from Roman times to the present day, to better understand the culture and traditions that have influenced wine production in the Rhône Valley.
During our visit, we will be able to explore the different terroirs of the region, learn about the different grape varieties grown here, and of course, taste delicious wines which are produced with passion and know-how by local winemakers.
You can admire the picturesque landscapes of the vineyards, smell the aromas of freshly picked grapes, and taste wines that reflect the particularities of each terroir.
The Rhône Valley is an exciting wine region with a wide variety of appellations and wines. Among the most famous are the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, Condrieu, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Tavel appellations, and many more.
Each appellation has its particularities and its history, as well as unique taste characteristics that give them a distinct personality.
During our tastings, we will have the opportunity to discover these different wines and learn more about their terroir, their production and their particular tastes. You will be surprised by the richness and diversity of the wines of the Rhône Valley!
The winemakers of the region use traditional and modern techniques to produce high quality wines.
For example, for the production of red wines, maceration is used to extract color and tannins from the grapes, while for white wines, fermentation in oak barrels is often used to add complexity and depth to aromas.
I would be happy to tell you more about the different stages of winemaking and to answer all your questions on the subject.
The Rhône Valley is full of wine estates that practice organic or biodynamic viticulture, with methods that respect the environment.
The wines from these estates often have very interesting characteristics in terms of flavors and textures, and offer a unique taste experience. I would be delighted to take you to discover these wines and their particularities during a commented tasting.
